Cat and Mouse

Cat and Mouse

It started on 9/12/2009 at 7:30am, as I got into my truck to go to work, there was a single stem rose with a ring box, wrapped, on my seat. My heart was beating like you wouldnt believe. I opened the box and a small note with an inscription, "Have a good day at work baby, get ready for a game of cat and mouse". Another rose and ring box followed as I got a call from the security desk with a delivery. My boyfriend waited for me in the parking lot after work, as we had plans to go R.V. shopping, a rose and a ring box was on the bed of the 4th RV we looked at instructing me to the next location, this took us to a motorcycle dealer,(he owned one many years ago and has been bugging for one lately)a rose sitting on a very pretty, expensive chrome filled bike. This one led me to his moms house where I really thought he was going to pop the question, I was literally shaking, but to my dismay, another rose and a ring box. This went on for HOURS..back to the house..rose and ring box on our bed, by the computer, in the shower, in the grill!!, at Applebees, a bowling alley, his best friends house..where I picked up the second to last rose leading me to the final destination, where we met up almost a year before to have our first drink. I walked in with his friend Amy, I was so nervous but she assured me we were going to just dance and have fun. I walked in and turned a small corner by the stage and there he was, already on one knee, with a rose and the final ring box. The band had already stopped playing on his request. There was silence in the bar, and he asked me to marry him. I didnt even take the ring yet, instead I tackled him like a linebacker with a hug, already balling my eyes out. I didnt even put my keys or purse down! The world just stopped momentarily it seemed. Then he slipped the ring on my finger! A round of applause from the bystanders in the bar. Much more happened in between but it took 15 hours! Needless to say it was the best day of my life, next to the wedding of course. The good Lord blessed me with a wonderful man!..Finally!
