The Perfect Moment!
On July 2, 2011 I decided to take my family on a last minute get away. We traveled over to Myrtle Beach, S.C. My fiance and I had just found out that we where expecting our second child and that we where about 3 1/2 months pregnant. After an awesome time of vacationing we had to end it and head back home. Before leaving we stopped to Ruby Tuesday to have lunch and my entire family was present. As we entered and where being seated I told the waitress to never bring my drink. After 10 minutes I began to get upset and went to the waiter station and asked for the manager. I then informed him that I wanted to officially propose to my fiance'. I gave him the ring and went back to my seat and there was my drink. After lunch was over the manager brings over a huge slice of cheesecake on the house, decorated in strawberries and strawberry swirl with whip cream. He placed the plate in front of us with the ring facing me. Still unaware of what was going on my fiance' began to look at the cheesecake and said, "where do I begin?" She grabbed the plate and turned it and to her surprise there she say the ring that I saved up for that she never knew was coming! She started to cry as I got down on one knee and the entire restaurant stopped and began to yell and clap hurray. What a way to close out the Fourth of July!!! Those moments where our fireworks and loud music!!! Now we are happy to announce that we are getting married on December 10th, 2011. In Fairmont, North Carolina!!! Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Dorsey, Jr.
