How I helped my Boyfriend Realize He Wanted to Marry Me
I had been with my boyfriend for almost three years, and I was starting to wonder if he was ever going to propose to me. I was 26 years old, and he was 28, so I definitely felt like it was time to get married. I wasn't getting any younger!
After about a year of being together I started to get excited and expect the proposal to happen at every holiday, birthday or special occasion. It never happened, so I started to wonder if something was wrong with me. I started to wonder if he really loved me.
I did some searching on the internet and I eventually found a great eBook that answered all of my questions, and helped get rid of my fears. The book helped me explain how guys think about marriage. It made me realize my boyfriend did love me, he just needed to be completely ready before he proposed.
After reading the book, I was fine with being patient, but I also enacted a few tactics I learned to help my guy realize he was ready. Three months after I got the book, he proposed to me on the beach in San Diego at sunset! It was everything I always dreamed my wedding proposal would be!
I have that book to thank for maintaining my sanity, and speeding things up a bit. If anyone else finds herself in this situation, I highly recommend reading How to Get Him to Propose by Christine Bennett. It will help, I swear!
