Snowed in...

Snowed in...

It was the day after Valentines Day. My (now Husband) and I got snowed in at my parents house. He told me he wanted to go and play in the snow. Little did I know what beautiful sparkly thing he really had in mind. We were going to build a snowman but the new powder was just too fine. So we made snow angels and enjoyed the falling snow. He told me he needed to get his gloves from the car. Well he really went to get the ring from his glove-box. He came back in a few minutes with a card for me. I thought it was just a late Valentines card. So I opened it. He wrote how he loved me and how he wanted to ask me something. I turned around to find him down on his knees in a snow bank. In his hand was a box with a bow on top. I knew what was in the box, I knew the question that would proceed. But I wanted to see and hear them both equally. The ring was my grandmother's. He reset it to my liking. The question... I will answer everyday until I die. Will you be my wife? Yes, I will!
